Background of the Entity

The Registered Trustees of St. Anita's Greenland Schools Tanzania ( SAGS ) was legally established in 2002 by Tanzanian laws Cap. 375 of 1956 as amended in 1999 to operate Nursery, Primary and secondary school Education also Colleges and University education provision activities .
Currently the Trustees have six Board of Trustees Member and their Names including Positions are listed below:-

The headquarter of the trustee is located at Ubungo – Kibangu, Kinondoni district in Dar Es Salaam. Upon establishment, the trustee currently is engaged in construction and operation of secondary school namely Waamuzi Secondary School with Registration number S.3571 which was established in 2006 and it is located at Kongowe – Misufini Kibaha District in Coast Region. It offers secondary education services to all children in all Regions across the Country. Waamuzi Secondary School is a Day and Boarding School and it accommodates girls and boys students. Its management is dedicated to seeing the business reaches its vision of becoming one of the main contributors and dealer in education activities in Tanzania. The recruitment has been made and will be done carefully making sure only suitable personnel capable of carrying out the business's objectives as the first priority above all.
The good word of mouth from the students and parents has been circulating and the number of clients accessing the business's services is increasing day by day. In Dar Es Salaam, by now the name of WAAMUZI SEOCNDARY SCHOOL are not new names any more.
3. 2 Management The schools management involves leadership from the trustees , the school board, Teachers, non-Teaching staffs and parents together with the specific school's management. This section presents the management team of The Registered Trustees of St. Anita's Greenland Schools Tanzania their positions and experiences. The key management personnel are as follows;
MR. Andrew P. Munazi - Board Chairman
This is the Chairman of the board and a co- founder of the SAGS. He works closely with Ms Anna in strategies formulation and coordination of the operations. He is a professional and has vast experience in business management after being in the field for more than Seven years. In addition to his position in The Registered of St. Anita's Greenland Schools Tanzania, previously he was an Auditor working with Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited ( TTCL ) for more than ten years.
Ms. Anna Mwakosya - Hon. Secretary of the Trustees
This is the chief overseer of all business activities and is one of the prominent founders of the trustee. She collaborated with other founders to initiate the idea of forming a trustee to deal with this market and has since then been careful and keen to seeing the school achieve its vision.
She is a professional accountant and she has vast experience in business management after being in the field for more than 18 years. In addition to her position in The Registered of St. Anita's Greenland Schools Tanzania, She is as well experienced in business and she has good marketing and sales skills together with approved interaction skills important for customer care and public relations. Ms.Mwakosya is the chief executive of the day to day operations discussed and agreed by the Board of trustees. She also acts as the main supervisor and correspondence officer on behalf of the organization. She is also well experienced woman entrepreneur with experience in management posts for more than 8 years.
Due to long dealing and dedication to success, Ms Anna has established friendly ties with many organizations, companies and authorities dealing with education in and outside Tanzania especially which contribute to the school success.
PETER RUTAIHWA
This is a Treasurer of the Board of Trustees, has an experience of more than 5 years in the same post. And currently he’s a bachelor holder majoring in computing and information technology with 3 years of experience in the computer technology industry, he’s also responsible for various activities in the school, such as making sure all computer devices are well maintained, securing of the school data/information electronically and also he supervises computer studies at the school for all levels.

4. Other personnel

Along with the leaders discussed above, the trustee benefits from skills and commitment of other employees who work under it. They are all highly committed and hardworking backed with good management skills and strong financial control, the character that make this business to be very successful.
